In 2015, our team decided to revolutionize the home-cooking scene in Malaysia by setting up an online,
crowd-sourcing recipe platform. We called it Fooddit.
As it grew, we soon noticed that one of the main reasons many Malaysians weren’t cooking at home was because they 'didn't have time'. To some, the kitchen is headache-HQ. It’s a dumping ground for dishes or a place to heat up leftover takeaway. As passionate foodies, we want to change this. We want to turn the kitchen back into a space of fun, learning and nourishing, yummy food.
So, we launched Fooddit’s delivery service. We’d cut out all the boring, time-sucking processes and let people focus on the good stuff.
